Manufacturing a Complete Component Set for a Material Handling Attachment

Replacing eleven part numbers across seven suppliers with a single managed manufacturing program under one quality system and delivery schedule.

The Challenge

The project involved manufacturing the complete component set for a heavy-duty attachment used in material handling equipment.

Rather than a single fabricated part, the scope consisted of multiple components with different geometries, material requirements and manufacturing operations that ultimately had to come together as one complete set.

The challenge was therefore not simply to manufacture individual parts. It was to ensure that every component within the package was manufactured, controlled and delivered as one coordinated program.

PROGRAM PRINCIPLE
DOZENS OF INDIVIDUAL PARTS. ONE COMPLETE MANUFACTURING PROGRAM.

The Fabriox Approach

Fabriox treated the complete component package as a single manufacturing scope rather than a collection of independent purchase orders.

The manufacturing route was coordinated from raw-material sourcing through production, inspection, consolidation and final delivery.

END-TO-END MANUFACTURING ROUTE
RAW MATERIAL  →  CUTTING  →  BEVEL PREPARATION  →  FORMING  →  MACHINING  →  FINISHING  →  INSPECTION  →  KIT CONSOLIDATION  →  PACKAGING  →  DELIVERY

Different manufacturing requirements could therefore be managed within one program while maintaining control over the complete component set.

Managing the Complete Component Package

Material & Production Planning

Material requirements were consolidated across the component family and aligned with the manufacturing sequence, allowing production to be planned around the complete set rather than isolated parts.

Multi-Process Manufacturing

Different components required different combinations of cutting, forming, bevel preparation, machining and finishing. Instead of forcing every operation through a single production route, the program was structured around the manufacturing capability best suited to each process.

Quality Control

Quality requirements were integrated throughout the manufacturing route, with inspection and dimensional verification coordinated before components entered final consolidation.

Kit Consolidation

Individual parts ultimately had to become a complete customer-ready component package. Components were consolidated, verified and prepared as complete sets before shipment, reducing the coordination complexity transferred to the customer.

CUSTOMER OUTCOME
THE CUSTOMER DIDN'T NEED ANOTHER COMPONENT SUPPLIER. THEY NEEDED THE COMPLETE COMPONENT SET DELIVERED AS ONE COORDINATED PACKAGE.

From Individual Parts to One Manufacturing Program

The real value of the project was not producing one particular component.

It was managing the relationship between multiple parts, materials, manufacturing processes, quality requirements and delivery expectations as one industrial program.

This transformed a fragmented component requirement into a coordinated manufacturing package with clear execution responsibility.

THE OPERATING MODEL
MULTIPLE PARTS. MULTIPLE PROCESSES. ONE ACCOUNTABLE MANUFACTURING PROGRAM.

The Result

The complete component set was manufactured in Türkiye and delivered as a consolidated package ready for the customer's next stage of production and assembly.

By managing the project at the product-family level rather than part by part, Fabriox created a manufacturing model capable of coordinating multiple processes while maintaining visibility over the complete scope.

WHAT THE PROJECT PROVED
WE DON'T JUST MANUFACTURE PARTS. WE MANAGE HOW THOSE PARTS BECOME A COMPLETE PRODUCT PACKAGE.

What This Project Demonstrated

Complex industrial sourcing becomes significantly more valuable when responsibility moves beyond individual components.

For OEMs, consolidating a multi-part manufacturing scope can reduce supplier fragmentation, simplify coordination and create clearer accountability across production, quality and delivery.

For Fabriox, this is where contract manufacturing becomes more than component sourcing. It becomes manufacturing orchestration.
